@netikras i think it only works on android 12 and higher.. Google changing the way to do things everytime :[[ will look for a solution for older versions for sure, thx!

@retoor yes.. notifications don't come with the comment bodies 😥. and theres an option to block users and words either on feed only or on rants aswell

Awesome app! Even has GitHub preview in the profile.

Although I'm not a fan of image cropping, so it would be nice to have it as an option, not a hardcoded piece.

@netikras fixed it! (tested it on my ancient toaster phone :P). now it will hopefully get you right on the rant page. (see changelog)

the github preview is cool, but:
i clicked on the github link in your profile to the repo, it opens firefox, i click on your username, it redirects me back to the skyrant app with the github preview for your user, because you register it as a link handler

@autobahn exactly. thats annoying. just like with the real GitHub android app which is litteraly almost useless and interupts my web experience.

however with Samsung internet this doesnt seem to happen.

i guess i suggest you disabling deep linking for 'github.com' then.. (this wont break opening the github profile in skyRant as that is using intents rather than links)

@joewilliams007 it's not enabled. It also doesn't happen if the github page wasn't opened by skyrant, idk not really a mobile developer. Why is it even implemented as a link handler?

No-no-no, the cropping is done on images attached to posts.

@vintprox ok. they are now not cropped anymore. it was annoying me aswell >:(
