Conversation with my dad, short version:

Dad: Why am I not able to do anything on the line, it says it's connected to the internet?

Me: No,you're connected to the WiFi, but if there's no internet to the modem for it to put in the WiFi you're not going to be "on the line"

Repeat

@CorruptComputer Maybe they created a hotspot with 4G internet? That would be technically 4G Wifi Internet
