@kolaente no, ß is replaced by ss by people who don't have german keyboards, but it is tecnically something different. And there used to be no capital version of ß until a few days ag9.

@jobylie Until a few days ago, SS was used in place of a capital ß (SZ was also used in the past, but isn't allowed anymore I think). The usage of ß in all caps text is highly unaesthetic.
