I wrote an azure web job to screen scrape a specific page of disneystore.com and send me an email if an Elsa dress was in stock so I could buy it for my daughter. This dress would be available for literally seconds at a time.

Lol. I don't think we did. It was during the height of Frozen's popularity so people were girding these dresses then selling them on eBay for hundreds of dollars. I believe a friend of ours got us a comparable dress discounted from one of the theme parks.

Of course there are already web services that do this thing, but being dev diy it's always better 😂
