Am I the only one who's slightly annoyed that the first lesson in the Swift Playground app is not a "Hello World" program?

I really dislike those drag drop graphical code tutorial apps ... My some uses on at school called 'scratch'. He's seen my code and knows that what they are teaching is only principles.

Why can't they just give them a decent computing teacher and start them with the "hello world" stuff and build on that .... It's not difficult once you start they just need a helping hand to get started

I always enjoyed Hello World and will continue to use do it. Would not feel right changing.

I'm about to start my first iOS app, background in embedded Java and Android apps. any tips?

and @swiftcon did you see Apple Educatiin put their Swift course on GitHub?!?
