@inpothet Boot it from USB or something and see if there's anything in /sys/class/gpio or /sys/class/leds.
On my NAS, which is ARM based and had Linux to start with, I replaced the stock one with Debian. I wrote a shell script to check the GPIO for the power button every 3s and shutdown if it's held down for 2 checks in a row.
There might also be stuff attached with I2C, like fan controls and sensors.
Someone might have hacked that model already, of course. -
