Worst dev tech I have used must be Visual Studio in a virtual Windows machine.

I can't think of anything slower.
And also, I'm a Linux user so I just hate it.

Ever worked with adobe indesign, illustrator and photoshop, in a windows vm, on a linux host, on a laptop with a nvidia gpu and intel gpu in the cpu? Well... I have. Or at least tried...

@huzairuje best thing about it. Haddual boot win and ubuntu for about one, maybe one and a half years, for exactly this situation. Never needed it, as I could always use the win desktop of a friend for that stuff. Decided to just wipe the win partition and have some more space on ubuntu, as space was running out on my ssd... Guess what. Fucking murphys law!
