@afreitas yes I am. Thanks for the advice, I am definitely looking into it. It won't be easy though, the router is about 5m away but I cant break Walls so there are 2 Flights of stairs in between. Fuck me!

Can you drill through ceilings/floors? If so, grab a couple of these bad boys (http://deepsurplus.com/Network-Stru...), a coat hanger and you're in business

@afreitas unfortunately I cant. Well, I can but my landlord will kill me. But maybe a 100m cable around the whole place is not so bad.

If wifi interference is the culprit, scan the area for other networks and look at the channel of each network. Try setting your wifi channel (frequency) to one that is unused or less frequent. Additionally, your router could also be at fault. Try a firmware upgrade, or maybe install dd-wrt.
In most cases, running a cable isn't solving the problem, it's working around it. Good luck 😉 -
@Gogeta70 my router is very fancy and searches for free channels by itself. It already uses the least used channel. The firmware is also up to date and the problem is not that common with this router, according to the internet

@jobylie Well, I'd say try the cable then. If the problem persists, it's not your router, lol. Also, that channel hopping that your router does might be the issue...

Fuck my internet connection. I really dont get it, sometimes it works fine and I can download small files while using skype without any problem and the other day, without any apparent reason, I always get kicked out of online games, Websites take ages to load and teamspeak audio cuts out. What the fuck, I even closed everything that might take up the smallest amout of bandwidth. It fucking ruins my night to the point where I want to run through my computer setup with an axe.
