Anyone else hate it when your client knows jack shit and asks you for something that they think is easy but for you is a weeks worth of shit? Yeah it sucks balls

I'm working with a client like that right now! It's so fucking annoying! The worst part is when they say "I know nothing about this" and then drop the "but it should be easy"... Like... Even after I tell him it's not that easy, and it won't be ready when they want to, he just ignores it and say "nah, it will. You can do it"... I think at some point he actually tried to explain me how to do/go about something... But never forgetting the "I know nothing about this" somewhere in there... Wtf, just do your job then, and let me do mine. I don't tell you how to run your businesses, so don't tell me how to run mine... Bitch.

(Sorry about that... Kinda ranted a bit out of control there... 😅)

I was dealing with one such client last month. At last I drew the line asking him to politely get someone else. He accepted. Hired another guy at one third the price.

Now he's back, crying, asking me to fix it. 👿 karma!

@P3t3r6 Dude this is exactly whats happening, and for me the worst part is, is that this isn't a job that I can let go right now. Also DevRant is called DevRant, so feel free to rant in the comment sections, anyway, I hope your situation gets better, as do I hope mine will too.

My company comes in clutch in these situations. We tell them it's out of scope and charge them a buttload more 😋
