I just bought an Ideapad for my parents. The internal hardware is nice for the given price, and the intel based variants are usually well prepared to use linux.
But the keyboard is awful.
So far Lenovo laptop keyboards where really nice for laptop keyboards, but with this one there is too little travel and you barely feel the gap between the keys. I have never mistyped so often on any other keyboard I've used.
