@dontPanic read the trilogy when it was three books, then the forth, then read it all again when I picked up the 5 book trilogy set. Picked up a VHS copy of the BBC TV show back around the time the 4th book came out. Played the text based game before I read the third book. Didn't get to hear the BBC radio broadcast until after reading the 5th book.
