So we just started being taught javascript. God, this syntax is a nightmare! The jump from ruby has not been a pleasant one, but picking up Jasmine at the same time seems to be helping a little. I can learn this in a week, right?

@theScientist well, it was more of a rhetorical question really. The point of the post was more to express my disgust after moving on from such a nice language to work with 😊

I'd be seriously worries about anyone that needed 11 months to learn a programming language! Working knowledge of syntax and patterns is enough - anything else can be looked up.
