I have realised quora is not the place for such niche questions.
There are apparently no much people there for such questions.
It's great if you are interested about history , science(in general), stories etc.
(Or am I in quora bubble ?) -
crisz81917y@LastDigitOfPi The question was like "why can't we fix X doing Y?", so it shouldn't have offended their superiority lol
-
crisz81917y@rohitshetty why not? And where should I ask? Not StackOverflow of course, so I thought Quora was the right place
-
@crisz I am not blaming you or saying you should not. Just saying there are very less people to answer them. There is no critical mass for certain topics. Like say some remote language that has couple of hundred speakers. Quora is the place to ask. But there wouldn't be much action
-
crisz81917ySO is good if you have a really hard question and you don't know how to figure it out. Mine was just a curiosity and it wouldn't be well received
-
@Nbfour on SO you can get downvotes just because you made a small typo, for asking something without jQuery and when the first 3 answers are suggesting to use jquery and you tell them that is not the question and if you dont put the question in exactly the right way.
Not saying hi, and thanks made my questions get a lot less downvotes.
Asking questions on SO is my last resort. -
@rtfm I understand that, so do I, but there's most likely so.eone who will help, especially if the issue has been cast to rant.GetType()

Head over to your profile and select "Edits" option from the left side sidebar.
You should be able to view what really happened to your question.
Usually, this happens because the question did not comply with Quora's policy on questions. You might also want to check the grammar while you are at it.
Plus, consider posting technical questions on more technical forums.
I've never liked Quora, but today I decided to sign up because I had an interesting question to ask, about my solution for an angular problem and why it could not be applicable.
Five minutes later 6 people followed my post.
Ten minutes later my question disappeared and nobody knows where the hell it went. WTF? My question count passed from 1 to 0, it disappeared from my profile and from the whole website. No notifies, no emails about it. What the hell happened?
