I've been a front-end developer for 12 years. I've done PHP, Angular 1, React, Vue, etc. I'm considered a lead at my company.

Now a manager has decided that all of the projects except mine are switching to Blazor. He insists that my project won't switch, but I don't trust him.

Am I better off biting the bullet and learning Blazor (a prospect that I'm not exactly thrilled about) or cutting out and looking for a new place where my existing skills will be useful?

although blazor is a great piece of technology, "switching all projects to blazor" is a serious red flag in my book.

be very very wary of this manager (more than managers in general) and have a backup plan so you can get out of there quickly when you have to.

nooo we have to change every tech here even though it's running already with no problems... because reasons.

I'm thinking Blazor must've paid your manager for the company to use it.

I am stuck using Blazor wasm at work :(
The compile times on our project suck.
