Anyone here tried the bluewhale game?

Apparently, government banned it and local tv channel is running news about it ( around 2 months after it became viral globally ). Many overnight "experts" think it is an actual mobile application game uploaded on all stores. What a joke!

I don't understand how anyone can be stupid enough to fall for such things..

The "I can't believe" factor is exactly what draws people in. It's reverse psychology.
A lot of the tactics the blue whale challenge uses are based on psychological manipulation. Sleep deprivation and isolation are the two most-used tactics, and both have devastating effects on our ability to reason and have appropriate emotional responses. You can see similar tactics used on students in SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) school, some of whom develop PTSD before ever seeing combat. That said, people who are willing to try a challenge knowing that the end result is suicide probably have problems anyway, and reaching out does a lot more than calling them idiots for "falling for it".

Mhh... The blue whale challenge actually only emerged BECAUSE of the news. without them, it would litterally not exist.

And really: if you are willing to take such a dumb challenge, im fine with you dieing! (not telling anybody should do suicide :/ I prefer being safe legally xD)
