@Nanos mess with the bios and ram and you will have more problems than solutions.
-
@IntrusionCM these days you need to change stuff in bios or else you're leaving a lot of advertised performance on the table.

I feel like the whole Linux eco system just is more solid. Even on the "bleeding edge". Rarely ever have issues nowadays.
Arch btw. -
hjk10157531y@rootshell yeah same here. I do still read the news page though as sometimes they do post some fix commands (to remove certain symlinks that migrated to another package etc.) But the worst breakage was years ago when there was an issue with btrfs and SSD's. Needed to do quite the hassle to fix it and had some data loss (fortunately nothing custom)

hjk10157531y@horus they have quite some nice artificial gf's now. Don't know if they run on Linux. Wouldn't surprise me if they did. May all your terminal dreams come true. Think they were called realdoll or something.
I updated Linux on my private pc to new major and literally everything broke like it was 2006. I was surprised because i hadn't this for ages but not even mad - because i knew it would be fixable. It took me 1 hour, than everything was okay again. I wish the fixability in crisis in my relationship was as reliable. Maybe I should marry Linux instead.
