Or they'll be incinerated in nuclear fire. Either way.

Or they will be absolutely amazed at our creativity. For example, we regard Edison as a genius, even if his bulb was super inefficient. Or, how we regard Charles Babbage as having basically made the computer, even though he never constructed his difference engine.
