My internship is starting to make me feel really stupid

The issue seems easy but I literally have no clue what to do or even where to start. :(

@jester5537 ... this is an internship - your not expected to know much of anything, which is the best situation to be in!

use this as a learning opportunity.

just finished my 1 year internship as a web developer.

my background - general computer science stuff but NO web dev from 2 years at uni. some c++. an understanding of oop concepts but little experience coding.

needless to say I was shite at first. For the first 3 months I was useless, felt an idiot and wanted to quit.

Now I still feel stupid but I work on my own solo projects, got my contract extended through the summer and got my £1000 bonus today. the hardest thing was accepting I was useless.

keep slogging away, accept you know nothing and turn it around.

@craig939393 thats so crazy..i feel like the Uni route should be more helpful... great you learned OOP concepts, but if you have no practical experience what good are the concepts?

im self taught, now a senior web dev 8 years later... and i still feel like im learning daily.

the worst thing is feeling like a prick that's turned up and is making life harder for the people that actually know what's up..

@Jumpshot44 Idk. I put it on stack overflow for programming assistance and I emailed the support for the device I'm trying to use to see if there's a spec issue to why I can't get this to work

I just wanted to vent on here as a troubled teenager stuck on an issue

Unless of course someone on here has used a BBC Micro:Bit before. Then they could probably help
