So once again, I'm planning for a new website I'm developing, a little side project. I tend to put pen to paper and map out what features I want to include and see where that goes.

It's got me thinking how everyone else likes to plan for their personal projects and if I'm missing a trick?

I'll type out a basic description of what I want, then use Adobe Experience Design to get a basic sketch of what I want. Then I wait a day or so and make a detailed version of what I want. Then wait another day or so to make revisions to it. And then I wait a day to start it. It usually takes me a week or just over to get a project started.

I'm using the same technique. It's great to know upfront what you want to do. Otherwise you'll spend time much one in specific aspects. Hmm
