I missed 25 on call alerts over night.

Me and my wife did not budge. Look at me call history and I cleared my voicemail at 4am... No recollection of that at all.

@Fast-Nop it is contractually obligated, even if it weren't, I'm paid well enough to be expected to do it.

@Oktokolo it's on automated on call tool. It calls me twice per incident, once immediately and once 3 minutes after if I haven't responded. There were a series of alerts due to the way a k8s corsetry scales.

L2 on call had to handle it, I owe him a drink!

@lungdart What is kubernetes corsetry? Does kubernetes look more sexy when it wears it - or is it just for support?

I feel a sneaking suspicion that the jargon might have gotten slightly out of hand.
