when your daily machine is a 150$ chromebook with a celeron running ubuntu....terminal and vim, you are my friends....and the only things I can use without freezing the machine 😥

    Dude, if you have some time to waste, remove the piece of shit that Ubuntu is and install Arch with a window manager.
    You will learn few things and it will be much smoother 😉

    Or buy a raspberry pi and use it as the dev machine with ssh on the Chromebook, I've worked this way for years. Even use stock chromeOS on the Chromebook.

    @nmunro I did it to but the problem is that you are limited by the arm infrastructure...
