vertti4537yI'm the same as you. Turns out all the information you need is online. This sports really doesn't need a practice partner or a coach in that sense. So it's really what we can even do by ourselves

World29767yThis is so relatable. There was no one who would share my passion back then. Even now, I rarely find someone. It feels good to know I wasn't the only one.

code4life107yI'm the same, i feel like it would be much easier if i had someone irl to share the passion 😊

charyas677yI dunno, really. I don't think anyone can teach you "programming" anyway. Syntax? Sure. Languages? Certainly. Logical thinking? Not really.
You have to kind of just go at it and fail a bit and figure out what you can do, learning as you go. Otherwise what you end up being is another one of those syntax memorisers (pretend it's a word here) who can spew jargon but can't really code the solution to a tough problem. -
hell no
I ENJOY learning things on my own, as I have considerably powerful internetting skills. Everyone looking at you as being powerful because you know things that their mind is not capable of.
why does that bug you? :| -
@OverCoder I guess I just like having someone to share my struggles and successes with.

vertti4537y@devLovstad dude, the world is a lonely place. We programmers know that the best of all people. Let's make good use of our time alone to gain meaningful skills that others don't have 💪

My biggest hurdle is learning to code all by myself. I never knew anyone that I could ask for help or discuss problems with, because there weren't any programmers in my family, and my friends were too busy playing video games.
