Every dammed webmail client looks like 2005. Currently I use roundcube but it looks also very old.
Someone can prefer a good webmail client for self hosting?

Use the api for your server control panel and build your own :D

This is my life right now! I found and used Spark for a while, it has sexy modern looks and the smart inbox works for how I email https://sparkmailapp.com/ but it's OS X specific.

I'm missing it so much on my work pc that's running windows and you're right, I have not been able to find a modern mail client on windows that has any sort of sex appeal.

Crawl doesn't get a design... But looks quite nice... I used it on the terminal not the gui version

Just connect a native client to your email server. You'll get a faster more flexible experience and just about every platform comes with a few good ones. Personally I recommend Geary if your on Linux. 😀

I used Afterlogic Webmail Lite.
But rainloop also looks interesting!
