Don't give up, man. I get job offers on LinkedIn even though I am not looking for one.

The hiring market has started to settle to its old state, day by day.

Hang on for a just a while, and don't rush into accepting a lowball offer.

Do you have management experience? Maybe find a job doing that for a while. I looked at a dev job 5 years ago. They wanted to make me a manager and eventually not code much. Was not interested in that.

@Demolishun I'm looking for exactly these kinda roles. Minimal coding and more managerial position.

@Demolishun if you read some of my other posts, you'll see i'd probably last about 2 days managing other people

They hire plenty of clowns out there - just ask my org

I suggest applying as a candidate for government positions. They never have enough 🤡

@ars1 yh, but you'll have competition. They'll outclown you

@fullstackclown even if that is the case. You will help someone make a devrant post about their terrible manager while you are looking for a job.

@Demolishun yh, ranting is nice but the real dream is becoming the subject of a rant

@retoor I'm both mortified and excited at the same time about this prospect

I just said no to a job offer from the seattle area because I did not wanted to move. If you are in the U.S and you are willing to move around there are still plenty. The field is however oversaturated and it is getting competitive af
