I'm going to be getting a new phone sometime in the next few months... Suggestions?

I'm currently looking at the s8 because I can trade in my current phone for $300 towards it. But the one plus 5 and LG V30 have also sparked my interest.

S8 if you can use the 300 discount

OnePlus 3T user here who is pretty disappointed by the 5, but the 3T is a very good phone... But that LG sounds very good as well, I personally don't like Samsung though

@Froot yeah, that's what I'm definitely leaning towards.

@chilledfrogs my dad has a 3T, so I know the 3T is a good phone. The V30 is also really good. All 3 phones are really good, so deciding which one is going to be a tough decision. But, I'm not getting the phone anytime this week, I'll be waiting some more. So I've got time to decide.

I have a one plus 3t. And let me tell you it's worth it.

I think the biggest problem with the S8 is the locked bootloader.

But on the plus side, it has Bixby! (said no one ever)

@nickj lol. Honestly, I guess it's much easier when you're a teenager who doesn't have to pay for rent, tuition, and other things like that.

My biggest problem is when I go to turn down the volume or take a screenshot and end up toggling Bixby... My first Android phone and I'm glad I made the switch, got it rooted but after a while realised it's not really needed unless you're a terminal-junky. The sleek design is only flawed in that it tends to slip easily - but all phones do these days. Haven't tried the other devices listed but you definitely won't regret an S8

@SoulSkrix 4 years is a long time, why don't you upgrade more often

@SoulSkrix well, should yes. But does it? No, not really. Most phones only last 2-3 years before they start to slow down and break.
