For you anti-google people out there, what do you use as an alternative to Google calendar?

Not anti-google, but I use a physical calendar. Its on a wall and I write shit on it.

@theuser that works. I have one too, but I can't take that with me wherever I go and check things. I can't add or remove events on the fly. It's just not efficient.

I use Nextcloud to sync my calendar via CalDav. You could also use Kolab or SOGo for CalDav.

I guess Notepad also works... Is there anything that you can't use it for?

Last time i used an electronic device calendar was my good old nokia s40 phone. That little 2 inch screen, a month and event on the chosen date view, bold text on eventful days, it was so simple and easy to use. Never managed to find same ease afterwards on any device or app.

nextCloud is great! Still waiting for Tutanota to release their calendar feature!
