That's one of the many reasons I dropped Windows 10 again after trying it a few months...
It just doesn't give you options anymore. I want rule over my OS, not the other way around! -
@wil222 Partially. Unless you find all Windows update server addresses and actually block them they'll still push major updates to you. Disabling updates only disables some updates.

disable update from the control panel won't stop it because the windows updates background task is still running. you have to go yo Services and kill the windows updater and stop it from boot automatically.

I play a lot of Dota2, and sometime win10 fucker just updates in the background while I'm playing which make ping spikes in game. After I killed and stopped from Services, never have the problem again.

Im trying to rebuild a project but the .exe is active and everytime I kill it a new one spawns......
So my only option left is to restart my laptop. The thing is I always hibernate and that has come to bite me in the ass..
