Telegram truly has unlimited potential as a platform.
For the global Mozillans group, we have a telegram group synced with the IRC channel. So people can use their platform of choice and still stay synced.

The name isnt devRant, but dFox told us to put an [unoficcial] tag in our group name, else he might sue us or something, so we prefered to change the name (no hate against dfox. He has the rights on his company name, and also, there was a smal "scandal" when the other group was dissolved forcefully)

@linuxer4fun if devRant is trademarked, he is legally obliged to protect the trademark, or lose it. Depending on where it is registered

@Gaetano96 Might be, although I checked them on both phones and it states that all notifications are on.

I just know that if I want to reach someone, it often just hangs on a single green checkmark forever, until that person opens the app.

@bittersweet Hmm... that's weird. I never experienced that in years of having a Telegram account...
I use an alternative client, though; Mobogram. You can get it in the Telegram channel @ClientAlternativi, if you don't mind italian words, or in @TlgTypes (but this one is outdated unfortunately).

The second paragraph/statement that you said is actually how Telegram works... unfortunately, you can only see 3 icons for messages:
Clock – the message is waiting to be sent.
1 Tick - the message is sent.
2 Ticks - the message is seen by the recipient, or by at least one other member of the group you sent it in.

In Whatsapp, there are two types of 2 Ticks, a grey one and a blue/cyan one. I think you know what difference those two types have, there.

But, honestly, I prefer Telegram/Mobogram between it and Whatsapp, for other reasons. 0w0
