How many times a day do you guys get interrupted ? Sometimes I just want to place a huge sign over my head saying "NO! Fuck off"

What bugs me the most is that when you aren't there to be disturbed most of the things get done anyway.

like 3 bazillion. I feel like sometimes our company needs like a utility developer. which is a fancy title for the office bi*** who just handles the day to day stupid requests that come in

Back when we were with general populace quite a bit but now we've moved to our own floor in our own office not so much 😊

Even Headphones don't work anymore...

A lot. Boss walks around to assign new sites throughout the day, we have no project managers so us developers are talking with the clients directly. We also have to take point on design calls. Half my morning is all replying to emails and making calls, I can barely touch the code until after lunch.

Shoulder tapping has become a big thing in my office. I'm coding. My headphones are in. I've only had one cup of coffee. Back away.

It's taken me three weeks to code a simple outlook plugin, because people keep requiring me to do other things. (Fix my computer, look at redesignin our website, oh can we do this)

This outlook plugin is the third go at this project because of retirement change. We started with a web site, then a custom Windows app, and now a plugin.
