So many people won't test because the they put all their trust in their unit tests. Unit tests are great but they test things that are expected, or have already gone wrong, like a bug fix. Recent places I have worked emphasize being fast over being thorough. In the past I have worked in healthcare and payment processing so being overly cautious was expected. I have had pms complain about too much time booked toward testing.

That's why I locally merge my branch into the Master, soft Reset to the Master head and commit everything as one commit.
