Some of my fellow comp sci majors, while very nice and friendly, are completely socially oblivious. It's cringey but I try to bite the bullet and interact with them normally, even when uncomfortable to do so, but man do I wish they could catch a hint.

Yup. Putting up with them is a useful skill to develop early on.

@alwaysmpe I wish I could tell them how to not be like that. I was cringey and weird too... In high school. But I'm a senior in college now. I just don't get how people constantly act weird and don't reflect on it / change it. They're clearly uncomfortable by their own actions :|

It's simply their personality. Learn to deal with it and things will be easier :).
