Nobody, nobody, nobody should accept an office-only position unless they actually want to work in an office. People who actually believe that everyone should go back into the office should be excommunicated from this field. This freedom we have needs to be protected for the best interest of the future.

    Newbies should go to the office imo.
    Experienced people should have the freedom to choose either.

    @SidTheITGuy that doesn’t make any actual sense though. In fact the opposite would probably make a better point, since people in higher up management might find it more beneficial since their work revolves around communications more than operations.

    And don’t fall on the big lie “office attendance is optional 1 day a week at least”, it’s bs, it means you HAVE to go 3 days or you’ll see those performance reviews

    Somewhen, somewhere a bunch of corporate real estate landlords are trying to go back in time and kill the person who invented laptop computers.
    Having huge, immovable metal icebergs as the only type of computing machinery would be the only possible way for WFO to make universal financial sense.
