These "hackers" only make themselves appear idiotic at the end. It's rather humorous, actually.
-
@Alice I don't know mate, I feel like we should encourage this sort of stuff. People trying to learn (and the best way to do so is by trial and error) should be guided.

karmak10827yMy classmate is the greatest hacker of all time. His terminal is green, so you know he's got serious hacking skills.
-
actually I would feel bad for him. I experienced a similar thing, wiping up entire hard drive. the differences were 1) it was not my computer, 2) I did it not to show-off, but to learn

hckmar2817yThat reminds me one sad story with an old classmate, he used to cheat people around him using a fake comand line site, where you type whatever you want and automatically write code. Poor guy, he started to believe he was a "hacker" :/

Being a pentester, ive seen so many people like this, and im still not immune to their cringiness. @Michelle
-
Well if there is anything to learn from this, is that maybe he'll realize what it means to be "hacker"
-
True, and i cant shake off the cringey feeling i get when people call us "hackers" it sounds like a kid who wants attention rather than a cyber security IT guy @iSwimInTheC

Why laugh? He wants to be like you! That’s awesome!
Teach him just enough to let him break everything 😂 That is how one truly learns.
Literature classmate saw my OS and asked me what it was. i told him it was Debian, he then told me that looks "Hacker" (i cringed all the way into orbit.)
He tried to install debian so he can pretend to know shit. And ended up partitioning his entire hard drive! Hahaha
