I have been really trying to move away from windows but videogames won't let me. I would instantly fully drop windows if there was a good way of being able to run league of legends on my arch installation.

tbh I didnt actually try that hard. I talked with some other linux users and they recommended me to use Wine and when I did some research it looked like that would slow the performance. But now... NOW YOU HAVE OPENED MY PATH TO FREEDOM.

A lot of games in Steam have linux versions. Don't know about league of legends, tho.

I fully support this! As a matter of fact, I am writing this on devRantron, in Windows 7, while loading League of Legends to play a game befor I go to sleep.

This is the only function this Win installation has...

Make LoL work on Linux and the very next second I purge this abomination from my laptop :P

@balaianu actually check out the link @Torbuntu posted, it works! ITS ALIVE! tmrw I am gonna setup arch on my main pc.

I did get LoL running on Ubuntu before. But it broke every time they patched it lol.

It's doable, just not great. But I know they've completely re-done their client in the last 2 years and I don't know how that would affect it either.
