Fixing a flat tyre is actually super cheap (if its just like a nail stuck in it or something)
Dont know about roadside but you could just take the wheel off to get repaired with a friend amd bring it back -
gitblame9137ySeems i do have a spare so they are putting that on for me now. I am the biggest newbie.

gitblame9137y@simpleJack Roadside put the spare on for me, it is what I pay for as part of my membership. It seemed easy enough but these people do this all day. Unfortunately it's a giant tear in the side so I'll be needing a new tire. Shame because they are all still fairly new.

dfox426037yIf you go to an honest repair shop they can almost always patch the tire if it’s not major damage, like @simpleJack said.

gitblame9137y@dfox It's major sadly, tear over the side. Roadside assistance said it'll be a new one. I'm calling my garage tomorrow to see if they got anything second hand. Else I'll probably roll into a tire shop.

Colleague alerted me to the fact I got a flat tire. Won't be able to slip out until my lunch break to check on the damage. It's been an expensive few months including this one so I'm going to have to dip into savings to cover the repairs. It's a small car so I don't have a spare and I don't have a repair kit but hopefully roadside assistance will be able to help. Never been in this situation before so I'm feeling like a dumb newbie.
