Shura2967yWell in most countrys contract violation goes very fast if you've got a good contract. You just need to do it once or twice, then most company's will pay.
-
Depending on the jurisdiction coding in a kill switch could be breach of contract or other such legal drama. Might want to also clear that with a lawyer.
-
Shura2967y@projektaquarius well you put in the contract that delayed payment is a violation of the contract, so you can sue and in the moment the case gets admissed to court you can in most countrys pull any evidence, in this case that product you delivered, out of service.
-
Shura2967yThats the moment you can pretty much force them to pay, they cant use the application and they are sued with all evidence in place, its a risk without reward situation, mostly following an apointment with theire lawyer that will tell you if you dont care about an admission of guilt you get the money and something up top so you dismiss the lawsuit.

I didnt thought I have to write this down, but you people dont get standard business logic, so here advice from someone who knows that shit:
- If you wanna get paid, make your own contract and let a lawyer look over it.
- always have a lawyer on retainer and enough money for him/her.
- nothing is real without a signature.
- your clients should know that you're gonna sue them if they don't pay.
- don't go easy on anyone, here an easy way to decide if you should sue:
Didnt pay? Sue.
Breaks contract? Sue
Asks for later payment? Dont
- always code in a killswitch, trust me you're gonna need it.
