I've got to ask because I was thinking of upgrading my 2011 one, how easy is it to exit vim...? Like that's seriously holding me back right now I'm a frequent vim user 😨
-
lotd77757yWell well well.. If it isn't a shiny DongleBook :p
It's surprising how loud that flat keyboard can be..
For escaping vim..
Isn't that hard, but takes a bit getting used to it not being a button.
I wonder how "easy" that touch bar is gonna be, to get working on Linux :p -
BernzSed1357y@ThatDude Because they're a convenient way to get a working Unix environment without the hassle of Linux, and there's lots of support for both open-source and proprietary software on Macs.
That said, I'm not a fan of the new MacBooks either.
Good job apple! The new escbutton of the new macbook isn't a real one anymore👏
