A1rPun2187ySo the idea is to create a page every day and scroll through the wayback machine to view all your made work?
-
@A1rPun I think it's more for when you complete an awesome design and then the clients ruin in later.
-
A1rPun2187y@devrocket We as devs have control over that situation! But if that is the case just get a specific version from source control and grab some tissues and chocolate 🍫.

github95447yOne major problem I can think of will be routing links. Many old pages links may become broken and using broken links webpage in portfolio won't have a positive impact
-
A1rPun2187y@github we make Single Page Apps nowadays right ^^? But ajax requests would break too... Mmmmm
-
github95447y@A1rPun yup. If it's a SPA with static contents to just showcase templates and designs, then it's viable.
Dynamic one will be tricky. -
@A1rPun lol, I'm referring to a company I used to work for, they brutalized it after they no longer had an in house dev. Not a version control issue.

Here is an idea.
What if web designers make their own portfolio with "The Wayback Machine"?
It is free, reliable, fast, and universal.
