@CogInTheWheel ask for it. Just tell him that being a senior dev means more responsibility and also means they are happy with your work . Companies are generally great with giving away names and more tasks/responsibilities but often lack the financial upgrade.

@ImNotAlfred i thought that was more or a Mexican thing since here in the south of the US there are a lot of Mexican companies that are more than happy to give you more work and responsability and no pay for it. Not racist btw, I am hispanic myself (mexican) but have nere NOT had this situation here. Figured it was a cultural thing unless the op himself tells me that he lives in the south as well :P
