Finally, I got my laptop back after 4 gruelling days of separation with a new disc and more RAM!!!
I can't wait to finish up installing all the programmes I need to start writing code!!!

    @LeFlawk Yes, I have. Last one I tried was Mint. I can't say I liked it. After some experimentation I've decided I'm not that interested in switching to Linux.

    @Qaldim I run Windows because me and Linux were incompatible for writing line of business applications for Windows. It always sparks flame wars but Windows 10 does what I need it to do. Zips along with an i7 and 16GB ram, never top out RAM unless SQL Server gets hungry. VS and Xamarin for the win.

    @philcr I agree. I find Windows 10 to be the best Windows so far and I like them. I have no issues with the other OSes though, if I had to work with any on my job, I'd use them without complains.
