I just got directly offered to work as a front end tech lead in a company that is partner with Atlassian, but I'm kinda confused because I don't meet the requirements for the job (such as 8 years of experience as a dev). Has this ever happened to you?

Happened to me for getting job that your personal capability didn't meets up with the job requirement

But I'm still accepting it anyway and BOOM! I did it

Those requirements are for show, in the end if they can't get what they want they get what they can, and trust me, it's tough to find decent employees with good characters and decent work ethic for miserable pay.

If they offered you a position then either you're good enough as is or they're full of shit about their initial reqs.
