Fuck me man this is the second time this week! Planning on going fully to Ubuntu mint.... But I'm not sure if that's the best solution for me

Need a good distro for web development
(php, mysql, Javascript) any other recommendations or should I stick to mint?

@b3b3 I know but for work? πŸ˜… I don't want to fix big and/or time consuming problems when I'm home and I can't fix them at work

@incognito I had no bugs yet. And I've been using it for 2 months now I think. Before that I had Ubuntu but when I upgraded from 16 to 17 it fucked everything up (not coz Ubuntu but because amd drivers are only available for 16)

@b3b3 how is the jump from Ubuntu to arch?

Also, looking at your error code is seems one of your ram sticks are broken. You should run memtest to make sure it's ok

@Dacexi no it probably was full πŸ˜…

@incognito that shouldn't happen though? When ram becomes full it flushes stuff to swap and if swap is full it starts killing software.

@Dacexi hmm yeah your right... Let me fire up a memory tester πŸ˜‡

First of all, I'm being critical, but no such thing as Ubuntu Mint. Just Linux Mint, which was build on top of Ubuntu. :)

Secondly, any distro can do web development. It's just a matter of what you like the best. Personally, I like Debian because it(so far) has been so much more stable than others I've used.
