What fucking moron thinks Bootstrap is a skill? It's a crappy CSS and js library with the same crappy overused design and the (metaphorical) size/quality of an elephant turd. It's times like this I wish I could forget about not upsetting people and reply with a big fat go fuck yourself. Fuck me.

@Alice I can answer that. You shouldn't. Bootstrap is not something you try out, it's a monster that consumes everything as soon as your PM mentions how 'cool' it is

@Torbuntu I understand where you're coming from, but imo bootstrap is

A) ugly
B) Overused
C) often used by people that don't know how to write CSS and JS

I think point c is also true for JQuery and JS

I understand bootstrap usage while learning or when developing a website to just be functional while still having some design, but I believe that anyone serious enough should make their own design.

You could say the same for any design system in recent months, they are great but end up being milked so much that people get sick of the sight of them.

I think they work best for their original purpose as think that is where they really ought to belong.

Bootstrap is a curse and gift. But anyone that includes it as a skill is clearly a low tier junior who can only do frontend copypasta development.
