@Marv a programmer would rather browse through hundreds of commands in the log than type it manually, even if the former takes more time

@Marv usually is not about the amount of time spent on automating some process. Granted it can take a lot longer to automate a one time process than to do it manually but in my opinion it's always worth it since a) it can be used again if needed, b) it's alwas MUCH more fun than doing any repetitive menial task and most importantly c) you'll most likely learn something new or improve your skills doing it :)
