How did you start learning machine learning? Asking for me :)

@sorny Well I started with Andrew NG's course on Coursera, but after dragging myself to the 6th week in the course, I finally gave up on it. Its a course which doesnt have a practical angle to it. All the code is matlab/octave.

Then I tried Fundamentals of ML from udacity, completed the course and jumped on to kaggle to practice.

@ThatDude All you need an editor and a few python packages like numpy, scipy, sklearn etc. 40gb is more than enough
