@Alice to be fair, it could if you're remoting to the same version of Windows with the same theme...
But I do appreciate the acknowledgement that not every single thing is better in Linux. I love both of them for different things.

@Alice Windows 10 is so fail safe that it doesn't let you shut down the PC and instead updates the system for three additional, safe hours.

If you want to use init to safely shutdown use init 6
