*Someone asks a question, asking for a feature.
* I put some link of a library, with some words.
* the asker says it's helpful
* some other unrelated stupid moron downvoted my answer

SO generally dislikes pure link answers as they have a tendency to become obsolete as links stop working.

So to avoid down votes its best to include at lest some of the relevant parts in the answer post and its listed in their recommendations for answers.
