it is out already?
Guess my laptop will not sleep tonight.
Though I'm thinking of just ditching Windows but I still do WPF apps development :( -
@sklafg Hope it is not a privacy eater! Windows 10 is already a privacy freak and sends everything :S
-
sklafg4757y@gitpush it is a privacy eater.
Windows has a new feature Contacts in the Taskbar. This feature would like to connect with apps like mail and skype to read the contacts. -
@sklafg If only i don't do WPF development or else I'll just dispose windows from my laptop.
It also is so damn bad on a VM :( -
@sklafg I might end up with a Windows 7 VM, it doesn't have a bad performance on VM
Though windows xp is best on VMs -
sklafg4757y@gitpush I have a Windows 7 VM too. That is not bad.
And your are right I believe that XP is the best windows for VM. But I haven't tested it yet. -
@sklafg I just noticed VS 2017 does work on Win 7, gonna try it out when I'm home to see how it goes, I really want to ditch Windows, I don't like the fact it keeps sending keystrokes and other private stuff like browsing history.
Not to forget that maleware scanning process that always eats my CPU everytime I boot my laptop -
sklafg4757y@gitpush yes I think you can customise Windows so that is not too bad, but some feature you can't customise and that is awful. You will switch on a Linux?
-
@sklafg Well I'm spending most of my time on my Ubuntu VM, I only use Windows for Visual Studio, but I don't think Visual Studio will play nice on a VM it is for sure different that running it on a host system
First hour of work today, installing the creators update...
