X : Do you accept space for username at sign up?

Me : Nope, no space. Username shouldn't have space.

X : Lots of people have trouble at registration because of that.

Fix the UX then. If it was indicated properly no one would have a problem

I am just amazed that people still have trouble understanding the concept of username and that it is different from their full name.

Maybe it is because I came from chatroom and forum era.

username != full name

But why wouldn't you accept spaces?
That always annoyed me in games.

@Ashkin actually I am using/customizing an open source app called flarum (which is a beautiful and nice forum app). So now I have to think of customizing their registration process.
