Really chrome... The highest ram consumer is chrome, and task manager is showing 70% of 16GB used... This is a good time to judge windows 10 Falls Creator

I have something similar ony computer for months now, but apparently it's a memory leak of one of my drivers. Maybe there is a memory leak for you too.

Anyway, chrome is not what is used to be...

I checked for memory leak , unfortunately apparently is not...

You guys do realise that chrome releases ram if another program needs it? Yes it does take a load, but if anything else needs it, chrome will hand it over....

@Jacobgc That's true, but 1.8 GB is a lot for a web browser. We don't want modern OS memory management to be some kind of scapegoat.

how even? mine usually uses around 300kB

@theuser If the high RAM used comes from inefficient programming, sure, that's bad. But if a program actually takes advantage of all the memory, heck, I'd allow my mail client to use 3 Gigs or more.
Unused RAM is wasted RAM.
